Mr. Carl Ian Graham has performed HVAC sustainable design consulting for commercial, multi-family residential, and institutional buildings for more than 20 years. He has authored and provided technical content for various high-performance building publications, including the General Services Administration (GSA) LEED Cost Study (2004), the HVAC Resource Page for the GSA’s Whole Building Design Guide, the New York State Green Building Tax Credit regulations, and contributed to the New York State Energy Conservation Construction Code (NYS ECCC).
Mr. Graham has worked within the realm of energy codes having served as Project Manager for the NYC Department of Buildings (DOB) Energy Code Compliance Study. The work included discussing code compliance practices with officials in cities around the U.S. He also provided content and technical development for two HVAC modules in NYC DOB’s six module Energy Code training course.
Mr. Graham has managed and performed energy analyses for millions of square feet of office buildings, hospitals, court complexes, universities, secondary schools, movie theaters, weather forecasting offices and retail stores.
Mr. Graham has also managed energy audits for commercial and industrial facilities across the country for clients such as: Defense Logistics Agency, National Park Service, Internal Revenue Service, FDIC, Warner Music Group, Pitney Bowes, International Paper, and the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development.
