The former headquarters of the American Telephone & Telegraph Company, better known as AT&T, 195 Broadway is a massive 1916 design by architect William Bosworth, perhaps best known for designing the Rockefeller Family estate Kykuit. Once graced with the second largest public statue in New York City, Evelyn Beatrice Longman’s The Spirit of Communication (currently located in Dallas, TX), the building retains its spectacular lobby; the latter features 43 immense Doric columns and is one of Lower Manhattan’s most imposing interiors. Vidaris managed repairs and maintenance of the weighty granite façade and replaced the building’s roof.
