Columbia University Medical Center – Allan Rosenfield Building
|Location:||New York, NY|

|Client:||Columbia University Medical Center|
|LEED:||LEED CI Gold 2012|
Vidaris has assisted the client and Mancini Duffy Architecture in creating an energy-efficient, environmentally-considered fit-out. The space is designed to extend natural light as much as possible, and to do so in an energy-efficient manner. To this end, the existing windows have been replaced with new, spectrally-selective low-e units. Office fronts include glazing to allow daylight deeper into the space. Other sustainable features include efficient lighting with occupancy sensors, Energy Star office equipment and appliances, high efficiency fan coil units, water conserving fixtures achieving over a 30% water usage reduction, and low/no VOC building materials and low-emitting furniture systems.
