625 West 57th Street will be a 450-foot tall, 43-story, 709-unit residential building atop a cultural and commercial podium, overlooking the Hudson River, Jersey City and Downtown Manhattan. Vidaris has worked closely with Bjarke Ingels Group and SLCE Architects to perform design assist for the exterior wall of this unique tetrahedron-shaped building. The north and east facade is an unjulating exterior wall with high-performance glass and aluminum spandrel which transitions into a stainless steel curtainwall skin on the sloped roof. For sustainability scope, Vidaris is providing energy efficiency and sustainability consulting. Our affiliate, LPI Inc., is also providing engineering services for the project, performing visual, magnetic particle, and ultrasonic examinations of stud and anchor welds for the sloped wall embedded assemblies.
