Columbia University's Knox Hall is a facility that includes classrooms, faculty offices, graduate student lounges and open offices. The professionals of Vidaris provided comprehensive sustainable design consulting services for both energy-efficiency measures and environmentally-responsible architectural measures. Their role followed the project from conceptual design phases through construction, including commissioning of MEP systems. Energy efficiency measures resulted in 23% lower energy costs than ASHRAE-required, per DOE-2 simulations. The professionals of Vidaris began work on this project while part of another company.
