The project consists of two towers: one 10-story tower, where patient rooms will be located (holding 140 beds) and the second tower is 4-story with 80 medical consultation rooms, 7 operating rooms. 

The nine-story 265,000 sf Morgan Stanley New York Presbyterian building has 100 medical-surgical beds, 41 pediatric critical-care beds and 50 neonatal critical-care beds, as well as a meditation room, conference rooms and meeting rooms on each floor. On the street level there is a canopied drive-in area with valet parking. The architects for the New York Presbyterian children’s hospital were guided by two principles: first, that the new building’s architecture character and quality should be seen as an extension of the original 1928 Babies Hospital and, next, that the new building should have a recognizable identity of its own. In the end, masonry gables and a copper-finish roof structure were created so that the hospital can be identified from a distance.
